Had to do three months of physical therapy. But at first, we couldn't get him relaxed enough to straighten it out; and the doctor said he needed to get his range of motion back and we should even force it straight if we had to. Eventually, just to get him to relax, we gave him a shot of Jack Daniels. He didn't like it, but it worked. After ten minutes, we were bending his knee back and forth and he really didn't give a rats ass. He still talks about the time that we gave him the Jack Daniels, always hoping we never have to do that again. But I also need to tell you that it is one of those perfectly perfect Michigan summer mornings....a little cool but just right...not a cloud in the sky...no humidity...wish I was someplace other than work! I am heading to Pentwater this weekend however--spent MANY summers there as a kid and haven't been back for several years...a lovely area if you're familiar with it...? Have a great day!
